Thank you for visiting the IESNY Web Site.
A nonprofit organization of lighting industry professionals united in a mission “to advance knowledge and disseminate information for the improvement of the lighted environment to the benefit of society”. Our two primary goals are to provide you the ability to navigate the rapidly changing field of lighting and to continue to raise the level of professionalism in our industry.
The IESNY has thousands active members that reside in the five boroughs of New York City. Our section is made up of a diverse group of professionals including lighting designers, architects, engineers, manufacturers, interior designers, electrical contractors, facility managers and salespersons, just to name a few.
Through our monthly meetings and educational programs, the IESNY provides a value-packed, quality encounter by drawing upon the abundant resources from our community of high-profile lighting professionals. Our monthly meetings are as diverse as our membership; there is something for everyone. Our educational programs offer introductory course for the beginners, as well as advanced course for those with a deeper a foundation in illuminating engineering. The programs allow you to acquire IES CEU credits as well as AIA Learning Units.
