Tuesday, May 05, 2009 History Committee needs Lighting History at LightFair International

The History Committee of the Illuminating Engineering Society, New York City Section, invites YOU to share your memories.

Help develop the Lighting History Timeline.  We have been working on interviews and a timeline of important history in the development of lighting as a unique discipline and industry.

Categories Include:

- Industry Events
- Significant Projects
- World Events
- Professional Practices
- Innovative Technology
- Movers and Shakers
- Unsung Heroes
- Family Tree Members
- Awards and Citations

We are collecting based on decades so we are compatible with our existing timeline project, unveiled to the lighting community during the IES centennial conference.  We will have lecterns organized by decade.

Step over to a lectern and write down your recollections that you would like to see included in our on-going Lighting History Project.  At LightFair International, we will be located near the North exhibition area entrance by aisle 1500.

Please join us and share your memories with the community.
